In 1992 under the leadership of Thrissur Ex-MLA Sri M.K.Kannan with his few other Co-workers started the ThrissurDistrict Ayurveda Co-operative Hospital and inaugurated it by the then Co-operative minister late Sri .M.V.Rahavan. The prime motive of starting such an institution is to give better Ayurvedic treatment with less expense to the common man with a mission to provide the benefits of this eternal medical knowledge of Ayurvedic to the different sects of the society. After moving through its initial years of voyage, presently it has reached a point where it can provide the best of treatments In a time when Ayurveda faces the challenges of unscientific commercialization. The saintly knowledge of Ayurveda becomes relevant only when it is totally incorporated to our daily way of life. Diseases can be treated with success only it the basics principles of ayurveda are properly followed. So keeping this goal in mind, the hospital runs with the best team of doctors and other professionals . Apart from a good pharmacy, genuine medicines are prepared in-house whenever required for a particular aliment by the competent professional team. This ensure excellent level of quality and personalization in the herbal preparations.
